The desire on the part of many consumers to know exactly what they are eating, has created a boom in the consumption of so-called organic products which apparently contain no chemicals nor have been grown under artificial conditions. However, not all products labeled as such are what they claim to be and those farmers who wish to receive the official organic seal of approval on their produce must comply with rigorous standards and control measures. The report reflects the experiences of several farmers and vendors who work exclusively with 100% natural products.
