Child psychologists claim that quality time with kids counts more than quantity, but many parents feel stressed by a frantic pace of life that often only leaves them time with their families on the weekend. New solutions are explored such as voluntary babysitters for women with low incomes, or “time banks”, a kind of time sharing experience that has begun to take hold in Barcelona. Finally, the report looks at the situation in Denmark, Europe’s leader in reconciling working life with family life.
