Gone
Oil on board painting entitled 'Gone' depicting a scene in Euston station of a group of women and children left behind as the train taking departing emigrants leaves for Liverpool, signed Frank Holl, c.1877. It is in a gilt picture frame with moulded decoration. Gilt frame decorated with cabochon and flower moulding and with leaf tip decoration at the back, manufactured c.1850-1910.
