Fragment of linen Sokat type shroud stitched onto card, decorated with painting of Anubis, bottom left. In front of him on the right the person's foot can be seen. 57x 35cm. This probably dates to the 2nd century AD and is from the Theban area. Purchased by Wellcome as part of the Rustafjaell collection in 1906.
