Wadjet eye amulet of, faience, decorated on one side only. 30mm long. Longitudinal hole. The Wedjet eye or 'Eye of Horus' was worn in life as well as death. One Egyptian myth tells the story of how Seth took out Horus's eye and how it was restored and healed by Hathor/Thoth. The eye was therefore a symbol of completeness.
