The Virgin and the Child between Angels
This anonymous painter worked in the city of Bruges, as we can tell from the depictions of the city that appear in some of the backgrounds of his paintings. His name is derived from a panel in the Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris depicting a Virgin and Child presented more than half-length before a landscape.
