The Virgin and Child with Two Angels
The name given to this anonymous painter is derived from eight panels depicting the story of Saint Ursula, now in the Groeningenmuseum in Bruges and formerly in a local convent. The panels are dated prior to 1489 and were painted for one of the wings of an altarpiece.
