Saint John the Evangelist in Patmos
Cosmè Tura was one of the great painters of the Quattrocento. He was the first artist of the Ferrarese School, which was associated with the d’Este family and which also involved the painters Francesco del Cossa and Ercole de’Roberti (also represented in the Collection).
