Diorama of the Zeezigt Coffee and Cotton Plantation
A plantation owner stands in the doorway of his white house (at centre), overseeing the slaves sweeping the terrace and working in the garden around the homestead. A freight ship has just arrived at far right. Slaves bring the crates and barrels ashore. The crates are marked with the letters PL (plantation) and Z (Zeezigt).
