The Prince of Orange, later King Willem II, changing his Wounded Horse during the Battle of Boutersem, 12 August 1831
De vervanging van het gewonde paard van de prins van Oranje, de latere koning Willem II, tijdens het gevecht bij Boutersem, 12 augustus 1831. De prins staat temidden van officieren en soldaten bij een steigerend wit paard. Links een kanon, rechts een trommel. Voorstudie voor het schilderij uit 1839, thans in het Koninklijk Paleis te Amsterdam.
