A Girl with Flowers on the Grass
A girl in a white dress, viewed from the side, is sitting on the grass holding a bouquet of wild flowers. The blue of the flowers is echoed in the bow in her hair and her shoes. It was probably one of Maris’s daughters who modelled for this idyllic scene.
