Station Square, Arras
Station Square, Arras
Destroyed buildings at Arras, France, during World War I. The picture is of what was once a terrace of town houses. Although the structure of the houses still remains much of the cladding has been blown away. The remaining signage reads 'rooms for travellers'. [Original reads: 'OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN ON THE BRITISH WESTERN FRONT. Station Square, Arras.'].
