Pat Lyons’ Reel is a composition of the late Tipperary fiddler, Seán Ryan. It is included in The Hidden Ireland, his first book of compositions, which was followed by a second publication, Seán Ryan’s Dream. Amongst his many compositions which were quickly absorbed into the tradition, are The Road to Rio, The Glen of Aherlow, The Castle Jig, and Dooney Rock (Track 8).
