Objects from a barrow at Upton Lovell, Wiltshire
The drawing shows gold objects from a secondary(?) cremation in a bowl barrow at Upton Lovell, opened in 1803. They include two conical buttons covered with gold, one of eleven cylindrical gold beads, and part of a rectangular plate of sheet gold with zigzag ornament. The barrow was re-opened in 1807 and several other objects were then found.
