Misbaha Prayer Beads of Walid
My name is Walid and I am a refugee from Idlib, Syria.
The object presents a part of my migration story, they are prayer beads that are referred to as Misbaha and are used to keep count during prayer. These prayer beads were given to me as a goodbye present by my friend Ahmed when I left Idlib. I moved to the port city Latakia in Syria and stayed there for nine years.
