Jean Alphonse Léger BABUT is a corporal in the 9th company of the 46th infantry regiment. Born September 17, 1894 in Gien in the Loiret, he is the son of Antoine Babut and Adélaïde Jeanne Thibault. He has a younger sister, Antoinette Babut, who was 10 years old in 1916.
