Pair of wooden sandals with a button, richly decorated with floral motifs in green, yellow and silver. In the nineteenth century, these wooden buttoned sandals were mainly worn in bathhouses in the cities of the Hidjaz. Men also wore wooden, but undecorated, sandals in bathhouses.
