American coal supply for the Dutch railways
Weeknummer 48-40
The ship "Stad Vlaardingen" enters the port of Amsterdam with 11000 tons of American coal in the hold. These were delivered to the Netherlands by America as part of Marshall Aid. Dockers unload the cargo with a mechanical grab, which transfers the coal into freight cars(?) and into the holds of barges.
