This is a watercolour entitled Fox Hill, by Alfred Waterhouse R. A. (1830-1905). It depicts the landscape view of a wooded pathway beside a lake with a woman and child standing by the lake. The artist, Alfred Waterhouse, was also the architect of Foxhill house at Whiteknights in Reading, Berkshire, which he built for himself.
