Prof. PhDr. et RNDr. h.c. Bohumil Němec (12. 3. 1873 Prasek u Nového Bydžova - 7. 4. 1966 Havlíčkův Brod) bylvýznamný český botanik a politik. V letech 1919-1920 byl děkanem Filosofické fakulty University Karlovy a v letech 1921 – 1922 byl dokonce rektorem celé univerzity. V prosinci 1935 byl částí agrární strany navržen jako protikandidát E. Beneše v prezidentské volbě.
