This ‘Shell guide to Life by the Stream’ poster is one of a series of Shell Guides to animal life in the country posters. It was issued by Shell-Mex and B.P. Ltd. in 1958. The poster features a large picture across the top, painted by John Leigh-Pemberton (1911–1997), with text and an annotated drawing of the large image below, and with the words ‘You can be sure of Shell The Key to the Countrysid…
