Design of a retaining wall and parapet for the east side of Winetavern Street – Plan and Section of sustaining wall

General Information: On 16 May 1832, D. H. Sherrard reported to the Wide Streets Commission that owing to recent widening and improvement of Winetavern St. and consequent alteration of levels, the east side of the street was now too low, and a sustaining wall should be built for the protection of the public.
