Series of rectangular stone buildings showing as negative cropmarks to the NE of the fort. View from SW. The focus of the vicus settlement (probably the small town of Germisara) lay on the flatter ground to the north east of the fort, though the cluster of buildings began immediately beyond its eastern rampart.
