Flat axe mould, HCA 212
This is an early stone mould for casting flat copper or bronze tools in two opposing faces or matrices. One face contains a matrix for a flat axe and a smaller axe or chisel-like implement; the opposing one has a matrix for a lightly larger flat axe.
