FRAM - Baptiste ARLOT (1884-1915)

My grandfather, Baptiste Arlot, gunner, belonged to the 49th artillery regiment. He was killed in action on April 14, 1915, at Bois Triangulaire in Belgium. He leaves behind a wife and two children, who will have great difficulty recovering the belongings and the body of their deceased, as evidenced by the numerous correspondence of his widow with the officers and soldiers of the 49th RI.
