History of the two brothers Gilbert and Eugène Grand and their brother-in-law, Jean-Baptiste Daffix
Gilbert Grand was born in 1880 in Colombier in Allier (03), and died in 1961 in Saint-Eloi-les-Mines in Puy-de-Dome. He was a minor. He was assigned to the Eastern campaign (105th RI). He was shot and wounded at the start of the war and hospitalized at La Flèche, a military hospital (Sarthe). Eugène Grand, his brother, was also born in 1886 in Colombier, and died in 1945 in Saint-Eloi-les-Mines. H…
