Xavier BÉNÉVISE is my biological grandfather. He lived in Pourchères. On October 3, 1912, he married Maria. They had two twin daughters, Eugénie and Denise on October 15, 1913. The war broke out, he was engaged in the 155th Infantry Regiment. During the fighting in the fall of 1916 in the Somme, he contracted an illness.
