Father, who was in the cavalry, got the saber from an officer. Saber is made by Weyersberg Kinschbaum & Co from Solingen. The inscription in the hilt of the saber is also the hallmark of the company: WH&C. It is an officer's saber. A decorative saber that was not used, only worn with gala uniforms.
