In the interview transcript attached to this entry, Stuart Harrison recalls his grandfather, Joseph Rosenberg who was conscripted in 1916 and served with the 38th Royal Fusiliers. Joseph served in Egypt as batman to Colonel J H Pattison and was a fire watcher in the East End of London in the Second World War.
