Een fragment uit het dagboek van soldaat Emiel Deschepper
A fragment of the war dairy of soldier Emiel Deschepper
In November 2009 Marc Peeters donated a fragment from the diary of soldier Emiel Deschepper to the In Flanders Fields Museum. The diary contains two photos: a photo of the cantonment site in Boeningen (probably Boezinge) and a photo of a group of soldiers at rest in Gijvelde - Bretun. In addition, a song is written in the diary (December 5, 1916), entitled 'I want to go home'.
