Various field postcards from Hans Kandel (10th Bavarian Infantry Division) and Johann Kandel (father; 3rd Bavarian Army Corps) vice versa and to the family. in Nuremberg. The postcards show both propagandistic images, such as high-ranking army commanders, happy vacation photos, but also life in the trenches, cityscapes and thoughtful sayings about the father in the field.
