Wooden cutlery made by a Russian prisoner of war
Cutlery carved from wood brought from Brest-Litovsk by grandfather Karl Wick'l. In the years 1916/17 he belonged to the guards of a camp for Russian prisoners of war. According to his accounts, the objects were made for him by one (probably two) prisoners of war and given to him because of his good relationship with the captured soldiers.
