Brothers Kipp from Raesfeld at war
Josephine Kipp from Raesfeld/Westphalia had eight sons: Joseph Kipp, Johannes Kipp, Bernhard Kipp, Gerhard Kipp, Rudolph Kipp, Wilhelm Kipp, August Kipp and Ignatz Kipp. All brothers were active in World War I, except for two (Wilhelm and Ignatz) all survived the war. As a Jesuit priest, Johannes was employed as a field chaplain in Czestochowa, Tomaszów, Biala, Lódz and Vilnius, among other places…
