Antonin a des nouvelles du pays. Il s'inquiète des récoltes et donne de ses nouvelles
Antonin acknowledges receipt of his parents' mail. He comments on the crops. He saw and spent a moment with a country; Sunday they are going to celebrate the village of this companion of barracks. He saw the Algerian skirmishers pass at the Carcassonne station. They are niggers and he thinks they will scare the Germans. He is not informed about the progress of the war but he seems quite confident.
