Dalginross Roman Camp: watching brief October 2008
A watching brief during the excavation of two small trenches for replacement poles on the Dalchonzie to Comrie 11kv high voltage overhead power line. One of the poles was within a Roman temporary camp, the other a short distance west of it. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in either trench, only topsoil and underlying glacial deposits.
