Braevallich Hydro-electric Scheme, Loch Awe, Argyll: Report of Archaeological Watching Brief, July 2011
Watching briefs were maintained on 12 July 2011 during excavation at three sections of a pipe trench for a new hydro-electric scheme to the S of Braevallich on the S shore of Loch Awe. At NM 95447 06858 the trench cut through a drystone dyke, probably dating to the 19th century, and a nearby earth bank that seemed to be upcast from an adjacent ditch.
