Men's cotton jacket
The jacket is worn by men over other clothing as an overgarment (according to information by Mr. Broekhuyse).\ The jacket consists of five weaves in linen weave and are woven on a treadle loom with two shafts (3912-313). The sewing was done by hand with the overhand and hem stitch. After this the fabric was dyed. According to information from Mr. Broekhuyse, the jacket was dyed with black earth. B…
