Production of splint boxes (wood boxes)

Since decades splint boxes were used as special gifts. (folk art) They were made in all sizes and painted in bright colors, depending on the origin and tradition. Big wooden boxes often were used as wedding gifts. The splint boxes are enjoying increasing popularity, even though only a few people dominate the production thereof.
