Großpiesenham - rural architecture

Austrian poet and novelist, Franz Stelzhamer, was born in 1802 in the tiny village of Großpiesenham in the region "Innviertel" in Upper Austria. Today, the village is still holding on to traditions and a rural architecture from the times of Stelzhamer. Technological progress has only partly reached the village and it is still a valuable place for rural tradition in Austria.
