Bell from the time of the first world war

WWI era bell. Location: France Paul Kraus made the bell from scrap metal in the trenches during World War I. In the period 1938-1949 Kraus leased the Cafe Lobinger in Weiden. The bell stood at the service hatch to the kitchen and was used to notify the waitresses when meals were ready
