Histoire de Gaston Hayotte

Pierre Emile Gaston Hayotte (born March 31, 1899) was part of the class of 1919. Many of his comrades were mobilized in 1917 (when they turned 18), but Gaston was postponed because of his small size (1.65 m) . He was recruited at the end of the First World War, on April 1, 1918, in Epinal (Vosges, France). He made his classes then fought against Germany from April 23, 1918 to October 23, 1919.
