A Romanian military doctor's photographs in Austro-Hungarian Armyungară
The photos belonged to ILIE BRUJA, born in October 1889, in Storojineţ, in Bukovina (today in Ukraine), a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in Vienna in 1916 and a military doctor in the Austro-Hungarian army. He went to school in Vienna with the money from a scholarship granted by Iancu Flondor's family. Bruja Ilie lived after the war in Chernivtsi, where he was a doctor at the Central Hospital…
